Belarusian-Pomeranian economic forum in progress in Poland

         The fifth regional Belarusian-Pomeranian economic forum is taking place in Szymbark, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland. The Belarusian side is represented by a delegation of the business circles of Grodno region led by Deputy Chairman of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee Alexander Rusanov. The Polish side is represented by over 80 companies, heads of regional authorities, seven cities and political units of Pomeranian Voivodeship, commercial and industrial associations.
         As a result of the first day of the forum four bilateral documents were signed. The Grodno branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed agreements on cooperation with the Starogard business club, the regional chamber of commerce and industry in the city of Wejherowo, and the Kashubian union of employers. An agreement on tourism development was signed between the tourism office of the free economic zone Grodnoinvest and the Gdansk branch of the Polish Chamber of Tourism. Also, the sides passed a joint declaration signed by heads of Belarusian and Polish business associations on behalf of participants of the forum.
