Renovation of Brest technology park to be completed in 2025-2026

The first stage of the renovation of the Brest Science and Technology Park has been completed. This information was announced during Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko’s working trip to Brest on 7 July, BelTA has learned.

Roman Golovchenko was primarily interested in the operation of the park, promising and accomplished projects of its resident companies. The technology park was given a former workshop of Brest Electromechanical Plant. The renovation of this four-story production facility began in November 2020. When the renovation project is completed, the usable area of the building will be expanded from 16,500m2 to 28,500m2. This will be done through the installation of additional ceilings and creation of additional 3.6m-high floors from the premises with a height of 7.2m. The first stage of the work has already been completed; offices and industrial premises have been equipped in the building. All in all, the work will be done in three stages. Thus, by now the technology park has expanded by 7,000m2.
