Belarus’ handball team defeat Bahrain in first test match

The Belarusian men’s national handball team took a win in the first of two test matches in Bahrain, BelTA has learned.

Yuri Shevtsov’s team secured a confident victory, 33-28. On 20 December Belarusians will face the team of Bahrain for the second match.

Belarus’ opponent is a silver medalist of the Asian Handball Championship and is currently gearing up for the IHF World Men’s Handball Championship due to be co-hosted by Poland and Sweden in January 2023.
