PM presents awards to outstanding Belarusians

Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko presented state awards to outstanding Belarusians in a ceremony in Minsk on 3 November, BelTA has learned.

"There we are having a special, solemn ceremony. On behalf of Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, we celebrate the best representatives of the country's labor collectives. Such ceremonies are a great opportunity to appreciate professionals, to thank them for their creative work and commitment. Each of you has excelled in your professional field, has made  a great contribution to the development and strengthening of our Motherland. It is you who personify the hardworking and stable Belarus. This is how our country was and will be," Roman Golovchenko said.

Among the awardees there are many employees of the agricultural industry. "This year was good for farmers. The country has harvested 11 million tonnes  of grain crops and rapeseed.
