Belarus’ grain harvest reaches 2m tonnes

Belarus has harvested 2 million tonnes of grain so far, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.

“As of early 3 August the grain harvest in the country reached 1,944,000 tonnes. The figure will be considerably higher by the end of the day,” the press service said.

Grain and leguminous crops (excluding maize, buckwheat and millet) have been cropped from 24.4% of the targeted area.
