Belarus, Iran discuss cooperation in the face of global, regional challenges

Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Belarus Saeed Yari in Minsk on 7 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The parties discussed the current agenda of the Belarusian-Iranian relations, including the development of political dialogue and the intensification of economic cooperation between the two countries," the ministry said.

Concrete joint steps were outlined to strengthen Belarusian-Iranian cooperation in the face of new global and regional challenges, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.
