Loading of nuclear fuel into second unit of Belarusian nuclear power plant complete

"On 27 December 2021, the Belarusian nuclear power plant completed loading nuclear fuel into the reactor core of the second power. 163 fuel assemblies with fresh nuclear fuel have been put into the reactor core," the press service said.

It will be followed by reactor assembling and sealing works and hydraulic tests. After that, the unit will be prepared for power start-up, its inclusion in the country's energy grid and pilot operation. The second unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant is supposed to be commissioned in 2022.
