Belarus reduces export oil duties

 

 

On 1 September, Belarus reduced export duties on oil and petroleum products, which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The decision is laid down by the Council of Ministers' Resolution No.495 of 30 August 2021, BelTA has learned.

 

In line with the document, the size of the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin, and waste oils is now $64.6 per tonne ($67.8 previously). The export duty on straight-run gasoline is set at $35.5 per tonne ($37.2 previously). The size of the export duty on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants amounts now to $19.3 per tonne ($20.3 previously).

 

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised upwards on 1 August.
