Belarus, Russia discuss approaches towards relations with United States, Canada

          Belarus and Russia considered the approaches towards the relations with the United States and Canada during the ministerial consultations on the issues of cooperation with North America in Moscow.  The Belarusian delegation was led by Sergei Rachkov, the head of the department for the United States and Canada of the Foreign Ministry, and the Russian one by Alexander Darchiev, the director of the department for North America of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
       The sides shared their experience of work on the North American direction. The meeting considered the approaches of the two countries to the building of political and economic relations with the United States and Canada, and analyzed the areas of interaction with the analytical communities of these countries.
During the stay in Moscow, the head of the Belarusian delegation had a meeting at the Institute of the United States and Canada of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
