Belavia named most punctual airline by Riga International Airport

        Riga International Airport has presented the certificate of excellence to the national air carrier Belavia and named it the most punctual airline in 2012.
Belavia started flying to Riga International Airport on 19 January 2010. At present the company operates seven flights per week together with its partner Latvia’s Air Baltic. In the spring of 2013 Belavia plans to operate eight joint flights per week.
        Founded in 1996, the national air carrier Belavia is the largest air carrier in Belarus. It is based in the national airport Minsk and offers regular flights from Minsk, Gomel, and Grodno to 42 destinations in 24 countries of Europe and Asia. In 1997 Belavia joined the IATA, in 2010 the European Regions Airline Association (ERAA). Belavia’s services meet the highest international safety standards.
