Belarus plans to refinance debts through new issue of sovereign Eurobonds

      The Government and the National Bank of Belarus are conducting a set of measures to refinance the internal and external obligations.
      For example, plans have been made to raise untied external credit resources by placing a new issue of sovereign eurobonds and by increasing domestic borrowing, the National Bank said.
In addition, in 2015 Belarus is going to use the export duties on oil products and the crude oil export duties on domestic oil production to repay the foreign debt. There are also plans to bolster the interaction with international financial organizations, including the International Monetary Fund. Maintaining the international reserves at a safe level is a key task for the National Bank.
