Astana conference to focus on public procurement and etrading

The Eurasian Economic Commission urges the Single Economic Space member states to take an active part in the international conference “Electronic public procurement, fair and transparent trade: the experience and prospects of Eurasian integration” that will be held in Astana on 21 November. The promotion of public procurement and etrading should be given serious consideration, Nurlan Aldabergenov, Minister for Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, said at the international conference of the Eurasian Economic Commission in Vitebsk, BelTA reports.
Since the Customs Union was established, its member states have been able to trade with each other distantly through electronic trading. Belarus has two etrading platforms, Russia has five and Kazakhstan has one. This trading method has proved pretty successful.
