Italy ready to provide training for young opera, ballet artists from Belarus

         Italy is ready to provide training for young promising opera singers and ballet dancers from Belarus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Belarus Stefano Bianchi said.
The diplomat said that the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus annually invites teachers to improve pronunciation and vocal skills of Belarusian singers.
“The embassy wants to enhance ties between the Bolshoi theater and Italian partners. At a meeting with the theater’s director we asked him to name young promising opera singers and ballet dancers who can get scholarships and training in Italian theaters,” he said.
       According to the diplomat, high professionalism of Belarusian opera and ballet artists helped them be a success in Italian theaters, including Milan’s La Scala. Stefano Bianchi also said that he had listened to the performance of a young Belarusian tenor in the Florentine theater.
