Belarusian cyclist wins bronze at 2014 UCI Road World Championships

      Elena Omelyusik of Belarus clinched bronze at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships in Ponferrada, Spain, BelTA has learned.
     Together with her teammates of Astana BePink the Belarusian finished third in the Women’s Team Time Trial. The event was won by Team USA, with silver collected by the Australian athletes.
Belarusian cyclists Vasily Kiriyenko and Konstantin Sivtsov were close to the podium, finishing fourth in the Men’s Team Time Trial as part of their team Sky. The United States claimed the champion title. Silver went to Australia and bronze was taken by Belgium.
