Samsonov wins GAC Group 2014 ITTF World Tour Belgium Open

      Vladimir Samsonov of Belarus clinched the title in the men’s singles event at the GAC Group 2014 ITTF World Tour Belgium Open in de Haan.
      In the decisive match the leader of the Belarusian national team outplayed Sweden’s Simon Arvidsson 4-1 (8-11, 11-5, 11-9, 11-9, 11-5).
     Highly-experienced Vladimir Samsonov made his way to the title defeating Alexander Franzen of Sweden (4-0), Lauric Jean of Belgium (4-0), Marco Daldosso of Italy (4-2), Benjamin Brossier of France (4-1), and Portugal’s Tiago Apolonia (4-0).
      38-year-old Vladimir Samsonov has claimed the World Cup three times, won silver at world championships twice and clinched the European champion title six times.
