Guryanov, U.S. delegation discuss Belarus-U.S. rapprochement

      Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Guryanov met with an inter-ministerial delegation consisting of representatives of the U.S. Agency for International Development, U.S. Department of Defense and Department of State, we learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
      The parties discussed the possibilities of normalization and expansion of relations between Belarus and the United States in certain areas of cooperation, exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, discussed the issues on which the parties disagree, voiced their fundamental positions and agreed to continue the dialogue to ensure the further normalization of Belarusian-American relations.
The United States delegation is set to hold meetings in the Defense Ministry, the Economy Ministry and the Education Ministry of Belarus.
