Business climate index of Belarus’ real sector 1.9 percentage points up in July

        The business climate index of Belarusian real sector enterprises totaled 13.4% in July, 1.9 percentage points up from June, reads the latest analytical review released by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
      The positive trend was fueled by the emerging output growth, slower reduction rate of demand and optimistic expectations regarding changes of these indicators in the next three months. Without taking into account seasonal trends the business climate index was 3.4%, 3.2 percentage points up from June 2014.
      The review indicates that the volume of production went up, the reduction of demand, of the volume of orders on the home and foreign markets became slower as well as the reduction of the use of production capacities. Stock in storage dropped. The growth of production costs accelerated as well as selling prices for products made by companies.
