A new tourist route will be launched in Zaslavl before the Belarusian Written Language Day, BelTA quotes Chairperson of Zaslavl Town Hall Svetlana Kartasheva.
Zaslavl will host the festival for the second time. According to Svetlana Kartasheva, the Belarusian Written Language Day is traditionally held on the first Sunday of September. However, this year local authorities are planning to organize a two-day festival on 6-7 September.
The festival’s program will include literature and music meetings, presentations of mass media and publishing houses, amusements for children. The Zaslavl history and culture museum will showcase an exposition. Guests of the festival will visit the exhibition of postcards and photos from the collection of Belarusian historian and collector Vladimir Likhodedov.
