Italy hopes to achieve concrete results in cooperation between Belarus and the European Union

       Italy hopes to achieve concrete results in cooperation between Belarus and the European Union over the next six months, said Ambassador of Italy to Belarus Stefano Bianchi. As of July 1 to December 31 that country presides over the Council of Europe:
       “As the EU presiding country we hope that we will be able to coordinate these efforts and set the milestones in strengthening the dialogue between the EU and Belarus.
For instance, one of our tasks will be to define the list of issues that need to be addressed. I have to mention that already today Belarus and Italy cooperate across a wide range of areas, including economy. Economic cooperation is to be one of the priorities of our presidency in the EU. “
