Belarus President’s team outplays Hockey Legends of the USSR in friendly


        The Belarus President’s ice hockey team took a 12-9 win in an exhibition game against the Hockey Legends of the USSR in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
        Both the teams were on the offensive right from the start, exchanging sharp attacks and shots on goal. The teams went into the second period with the score 5-4 in favor of the Belarusian players. Early in the middle session the guests tied the game. The teams once again traded goals and the scoreboard showed 6-6 at the end of the second.
        The final stanza saw some more goals into each net, with Belarus coming out of the building victorious.
Alexander Lukashenko finished the game with one goal and three assists.
World boxing champion Natalia Ragozina who made part of the Hockey Legends of the USSR team added spice to the match. She scored a goal and was named, alongside with goalkeeper Vladimir Myshkin, the player of the game.
       Vladimir Kopat and Andrei Kovalev took the player of the game title in the Belarus President’s team.
The match was held at the arena of HC Yunost Minsk.
