Беларусы здолелі абараніць сваю прамысловасць, сельскую гаспадарку і паспяхова інвесціравалі ў развіццё краіны. Такой думкай падзяліўся з журналістамі загадчык міжнароднага аддзела Партугальскай камуністычнай партыі (дэпутат Еўрапарламента ў 2005-2009 гадах) Педру Мігель Невеш Герэйру перад сустрэчай у Палаце прадстаўнікоў, перадае БЕЛТА.
"Мы падтрымліваем і вельмі цэнім імкненне Рэспублікі Беларусь да суверэнітэту. З гэтага шляху, па якім ідзе Беларусь, на працягу дзесяцігоддзяў вашу краіну не змаглі збіць. І гэта добра прасочваецца ў такіх сферах, як ахова здароўя, адукацыя. Вы змаглі вельмі добра абараніць сваю вытворчую сістэму, сельскую гаспадарку, прамысловасць. Не толькі абаранілі, але і развілі. Вы інвесціравалі ў развіццё сваёй краіны. Гэта вельмі добра для вашага народа", - заявіў Педру Мігель Невеш Герэйру.
Ён падкрэсліў, што кожны народ свету мае права на развіццё. І ніхто не павінен знаходзіцца ў залежнасці - эканамічнай або палітычнай.
Гаворачы аб сумесных з беларускім бокам праектах, прадстаўнік Партугальскай камуністычнай партыі звярнуў увагу на наяўнасць такіх. Прычым яны датычацца розных сфер: эканамічнага, палітычнага ўзаемадзеяння. Але каб планаваць новыя праекты, неабходна больш сустракацца і працаваць у сферы кааперацыі, лічыць ён.
Педру Мігель Невеш Герэйру адзначыў добрыя адносіны з Беларуссю на ўзроўні партый і парламентарыяў. Цяперашняя сустрэча ў Мінску не першая. Раней праходзілі двухбаковыя сустрэчы, адносіны падтрымліваюцца.
"Асноўная наша мэта - як мага лепш даведацца, якое эканамічнае і сацыяльнае развіццё на сёння перажывае краіна. Вельмі важна, каб партугальскі народ даведаўся праўдзівую сітуацыю, якая адбываецца ў Рэспубліцы Беларусь, і атрымаў як мага больш ведаў у цэлым аб беларускім народзе", - упэўнены ён.
Прадстаўнік Партугальскай камуністычнай партыі выказаў меркаванне, што з улікам сітуацыі ў Еўропе і ў свеце, важна быць разам і ўмець процістаяць выклікам сучаснасці. Таксама неабходна пашыраць ініцыятывы, накіраваныя ў першую чаргу на мір і працвітанне народаў, каб процістаяць супярэчнасцям. Менавіта з такімі пазітыўнымі намерамі дэлегацыя з Партугаліі і знаходзіцца ў Мінску.
"Мы вельмі хочам унесці нешта добрае ў гэты шлях - шлях стварэння. Лічым, што гэта важна як для партугальскага, так і для беларускага народаў, і ў цэлым усяго свету", - сказаў Педру Мігель Невеш Герэйру.

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English.
