Der belarussische Präsident Alexander Lukaschenko hat sich während eines Arbeitsbesuchs in Brest zur Lage im Gebiet Brest geäußert und dem Vorsitzenden des Gebietsexekutivkomitees, Pjotr Parchomtschik, Aufgaben gestellt.
Das Staatsoberhaupt äußerte sich zunächst zur Lage in der Landwirtschaft des Gebiets. Auf dem Anflug nach Brest hatte er sich aus dem Hubschrauber heraus ein Bild vom Zustand der Felder gemacht. „Insgesamt ist es nicht schlecht, aber begeistert bin ich nicht. Ich dachte mir: Wenn wir im Gebiet Grodno auch nur annähernd so etwas hätten wie im Gebiet Brest – das wäre nicht gut. Schließlich war das Gebiet Grodno in dieser Hinsicht immer unser Vorreiter“, betonte der Präsident. „Ich sage nicht, dass es im Gebiet Brest schlecht ist, aber es ruft keine Begeisterung hervor.“
„Ich habe keinen Zweifel daran, dass du die Ernte einbringen wirst“, wandte sich Alexander Lukaschenko an den Vorsitzenden des Exekutivkomitees des Gebiets Brest, Pjotr Parchomtschik. „Mich interessiert etwas anderes: die Erträge bei Getreide, bei den Körnerfrüchten und so weiter.“
Eine weitere Forderung des Staatsoberhauptes: Ordnung schaffen und die herrschende Misswirtschaft in der Region beseitigen. „Ich muss sagen, dass du an manchen Stellen ein Chaos hast. Auf den Dächern alter, verfallener Gebäude sind Bäume gewachsen – die müssen weg“, unterstrich er. „Im Gebiet Brest muss Ordnung geschaffen werden.“
Der Präsident wies den Vorsitzenden des Exekutivkomitees des Gebiets Brest zudem auf die Notwendigkeit hin, ordnungsgemäße Bedingungen für die Lagerung von Heu zu schaffen: „Das Heu wird in Rollen gepresst – und dann liegen gelassen. Heu muss unter einem Dach liegen. Oder du denkst dir eine Abdeckung für diese Rollen aus, damit sie nicht nass werden. Das Heu ist gepresst, kommt Wasser hinein – alles verrottet. Das weiß ich aus eigener Erfahrung.“
Alexander Lukaschenko forderte zudem Ordnung in der Beloweschskaja Puschtscha. „In der Beloweschskaja Puschtscha muss Ordnung geschaffen werden. Nicht nur entlang der Straße, über die ich geflogen bin, sondern im gesamten Nationalpark. Dort liegen sehr, sehr viele umgestürzte Bäume. Ich bin unzufrieden mit dem, was in der Beloweschskaja Puschtscha geschieht; es muss Ordnung herrschen“, erklärte Alexander Lukaschenko.
„Du arbeitest hier nicht schlecht, aber man sollte mehr. Fang ab dem nächsten Jahr an, hier in Brest Ordnung zu schaffen. Ich setze große Hoffnungen auf dich“, sagte Alexander Lukaschenko zu Pjotr Parchomtschik.
