„Wirtschaft braucht Frieden“. Kedmi erklärte, warum die USA an einer Verbesserung der Beziehungen zu Russland interessiert sind

Die wirtschaftliche Notwendigkeit zwingt die Vereinigten Staaten dazu, Wege zur Verbesserung der Beziehungen zu Russland zu suchen. Diese Meinung äußerte der Militärexperte und Politologe Jakow Kedmi in der Sendung „Thema im Gespräch“ auf dem YouTube-Kanal der Nachrichtenagentur BELTA. 

„Eines der Hauptthemen, das (auf dem Gipfeltreffen in Anchorage – Anm. BELTA) diskutiert wurde, sind die gemeinsamen Interessen Russlands und der USA. Die arktischen Bodenschätze sind von gemeinsamem Interesse, ebenso wie die Nordostpassage. Ich habe bereits gesagt: Sie ist für die Vereinigten Staaten ebenso vorteilhaft wie für China. Die geografische Lage ist so, dass es von Seattle, Los Angeles und San Francisco aus günstiger ist, den Nördlichen Seeweg zu nehmen. Fast genauso wie von Shanghai aus“, so der Experte. 
 
Laut Jakow Kedmi wird die Bedeutung der Arktis für die USA heute unterschätzt. „Nur wenige verstehen das und nur wenige sprechen darüber, weil sie um Sensationen kämpfen. Aber bis 2030 wird der weltweite Bedarf an Energieträgern stark ansteigen. Es wird an Strom mangeln. Digitale Währungen, künstliche Intelligenz – all das erfordert enorme Mengen an Energie. Und woher soll man sie nehmen? Eine der größten potenziellen Reserven der Welt befindet sich im Arktischen Ozean. Die USA sind daran interessiert: Sie wollen gemeinsam mit Russland Geld mit der Gewinnung von Strom und Energieträgern verdienen und ihr Land mit den notwendigen Ressourcen versorgen“, erklärte er.
 
Der Experte betonte, dass Washington nur sehr wenig Zeit bleibt. „Die Vereinigten Staaten haben fünf Jahre Zeit, weil sie sich zum Ziel gesetzt haben, in dieser Zeit China im Bereich der künstlichen Intelligenz einzuholen und nicht überholen zu lassen. Nicht alle verstehen die strategische Bedeutung der KI richtig“, sagte Jakow Kedmi.
 
Er wies darauf hin, dass die Zukunft der Waffen direkt mit der technologischen Entwicklung verbunden ist. „Die USA beginnen gerade erst, Hyperschallwaffen einzuführen. Diese können jedoch nur mit Hilfe künstlicher Intelligenz gesteuert werden. Bei einer Flugzeit von 5 bis 7 Minuten ist das menschliche Gehirn nicht in der Lage, Entscheidungen zu treffen. Alle Waffensysteme werden auf Netzwerkinteraktion umgestellt: Land-, See- und Luftstreitkräfte. Das bedeutet die gleichzeitige Lösung von Dutzenden und Hunderten von Aufgaben in einer sich verändernden Situation, und das kann nur mit Hilfe von KI bewältigt werden. Und das ist Energie“, sagte der Politologe.
 
Dabei betonte er, dass die amerikanischen Investitionen in künstliche Intelligenz bereits in Billionen berechnet werden und dies nicht ausreichen wird. „Die USA haben sich zum Ziel gesetzt, bis 2030 eine Billion Dollar in die Entwicklung künstlicher Intelligenz zu investieren. Aber wie immer bei solchen Berechnungen wird dies nicht ausreichen. Es wird mehr nötig sein. Und Geld ist Wirtschaft. Die Druckerpresse kann nicht so viel drucken. Und was braucht die Wirtschaft? Frieden“, resümierte Jakow Kedmi.

21st June was fifth International Yoga Day observed across the world. The theme for Yoga Day 2019 was "Yoga for Climate Action”. On this day, which is dedicated to inner and outer well-being of human body, people across the world practice yoga in groups. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga, a physical, mental and spiritual practice.
