白俄罗斯和中国共同珍视历史记忆，绝不容忍任何篡改历史的行为。白俄罗斯第一副总理尼古拉·斯诺普科夫在伟大卫国战争历史博物馆出席"铭记历史，开创未来"中国抗战胜利80周年图片展开幕式时如是说。
尼古拉·斯诺普科夫强调，此次活动对白中两国具有特殊意义。第一副总理指出："今天我们共同缅怀两国人民抗击德国法西斯和日本军国主义的英勇事迹。白俄罗斯人民和中国人民都为这场残酷战争的胜利付出了巨大代价。对中国而言，战争始于1931年9月18日的辽宁省沈阳市；而对白俄罗斯和整个苏联来说，战争在十年后的1941年6月22日从英雄布列斯特要塞打响。具有象征意义的是，如今辽宁省与布列斯特州已缔结为友好省州关系。»
尼古拉·斯诺普科夫副总理继续讲道："我们虔诚缅怀并精心守护八十多年前为共同胜利奋战的前线将士、地下工作者和后方劳动者。我们永远铭记在维捷布斯克抗击法西斯的中国地下战士的英名，永远崇敬在中国大地上与日本侵略者血战长空、捐躯疆场的白俄罗斯英雄。他们的功勋在我们两国永志不忘。»
第一副总理强调道："令人痛心的是，那段峥嵘岁月的亲历者正日渐稀少。正因如此，此类展览和纪念活动才显得尤为重要——它们承载着世代传承战争记忆的使命，让我们能够缅怀先烈英灵，讲述历史真相，杜绝任何人篡改史实、美化战犯或玷污英雄声誉的企图"。
尼古拉·斯诺普科夫特别提到，共同的历史记忆构成了联合国大会《第二次世界大战结束八十周年》决议的基石。该决议规定定期召开联大特别会议，纪念二战遇难者。
第一副总理表示："白俄罗斯与中国正携手走在建设性发展道路上，我们的合作逐年深化。不久后，白俄罗斯总统将赴北京出席战胜日本军国主义和二战结束80周年纪念活动"。
尼古拉·斯诺普科夫特别感谢中国驻白俄罗斯大使馆和伟大卫国战争历史博物馆为筹办此次展览所做的努力。
他表示坚信，此次展览将帮助每位参观者从新的视角了解白中友谊的历史渊源，这种友谊如今已成为两国在国际舞台成功合作、构建命运共同体的坚实基础。

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English.
