Der berühmte belarussiche Dichter und Schriftsteller Jakub Kolas hat in seinen Werken über Taschkent und andere Orte des Landes geschrieben, was für uns eine große Ehre ist. Der Außerordentliche und Bevollmächtigte Botschafter der Republik Usbekistan in der Republik Belarus, Rachmatulla Nasarow, äußerte diese Meinung vor Journalisten im Vorfeld der Veranstaltung „Freundesland Usbekistan“ im Staatlichen Literatur- und Gedenkmuseum von Jakub Kolas.
„Ich glaube, dass Jakub Kolas eine Art Brücke zwischen Usbekistan und Belarus ist, da er in seinen Werken über Taschkent und andere Orte unseres Landes geschrieben hat, die heute bei Touristen und Gästen beliebt sind. Das ist eine große Ehre für uns. Es bringt unsere Völker einander näher“, sagte Rachmatulla Nasarow.
Ihm zufolge haben unsere Länder eine gemeinsame Geschichte. Es gab für unsere Völker einst gute und weniger angenehme Zeiten, allen voran den Großen Vaterländischen Krieg. Damals begannen alle Völker, auch die Usbeken, gemeinsam ihre Heimat zu verteidigen. Rachmatulla Nasarow fügte hinzu, dass die Usbeken, die im Hintergrund lagen, ebenfalls zum Sieg beitrugen. Neben der Tatsache, dass viele Usbeken in schrecklichen Schlachten kämpften und ihr Leben ließen, wurden viele staatliche Institutionen nach Usbekistan evakuiert, darunter auch die Nationale Akademie der Wissenschaften von Belarus, die damals von Jakub Kolas geleitet wurde. „Er lebte und arbeitete in Usbekistan und hinterließ viel. Heute lesen wir seine Werke mit Freude“, betonte Rachmatulla Nasarow.
Seiner Meinung nach legen Vertreter Usbekistans, die Belarus besuchen, Wert darauf, dass auch das Andenken an ihre Landsleute, die in diesem Krieg kämpften und den Titel „Helden der Sowjetunion“ erhielten, hier verewigt ist. Schulen und Straßen sind nach ihnen benannt.
Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung wurde zudem der Dokumentarfilm „Taschkents Tasche“ des belarussischen Filmstudios Belarusfilm präsentiert. Dieser Film beleuchtet die usbekische Zeit im Leben von Jakub Kolas während des Großen Vaterländischen Krieges und wurde sowohl in Usbekistan als auch in Belarus gedreht. Die Urenkelin von Jakub Kolas, die Hauptverwalterin der Museumsfonds, Wassilina Mizkewitsch, nahm an den Dreharbeiten teil.
