Gaidukewitsch: Was stellt der Westen unter dem „echten Wahlkampf“ vor?

Ein echter Wahlkampf ist in der Vorstellung der westlichen Staaten so einer, wenn ein Kandidat zu Straßenprotesten aufruft und die Wahlergebnisse nicht anerkennt, obwohl sie demokratisch waren. Diese Meinung äußerte Oleg Gaidukewitsch, Vorsitzender der Liberaldemokratischen Partei, in der neuen Folge von „Thema im Gespräch“ auf dem YouTube-Kanal der Telegraphenagentur BelTA.

„Ein britischer Journalist, der dem belarussischen Präsidenten auf der Pressekonferenz am 26. Januar Fragen stellte, war bei mir zu Gast. Er fragte mich: „Warum loben Sie in Ihren Interviews den belarussischen Präsidenten?“ Das war seine erste Frage. Ich sagte: Wenn der Präsident eine Politik im Interesse des Landes macht, wenn er den Staat stärkt, warum sollte ich ihn dann nicht loben? Warum überrascht Sie das, wenn dies tatsächlich der Fall ist? Wenn meine Parteimitglieder den Präsidenten loben, warum sollte ich mich dann gegen ihren Willen stellen? Was für ein Politiker bin ich dann?“ sagte Oleg Gaidukewitsch.

„Der britische Journalist warf mir vor, dass ich als Kandidat wohl nicht richtig gekämpft habe. Ich fragte ihn, was er unter dem richtigen Kampf verstehe. Ist der richtige Kampf etwa eine Situation, wenn ich verloren habe und weiß, welche Zustimmung der Präsident hat, dass ich dann mit Steinen und Brecheisen auf den Platz gehe und sage, dass ich die Wahl gewonnen habe? Er schweigt. Weil das genau das ist, was sie im Westen wollen. Für sie ist es ein echter Kampf, wenn ein Kandidat auf die Straße protestieren geht, wenn er die Wahlen nicht anerkennt, obwohl sie demokratisch sind, wenn Hunderte und Tausende von Beobachtern keine Verstöße feststellen können, aber ein Kandidat geht dabei auf die Straße und wird offen vom Westen unterstützt“, betonte er.

In einem solchen Fall, davon ist Oleg Gaidukewitsch überzeugt, wird ein solcher Kandidat für den Westen „bequem“ sein, und der Kampf wird so sein, wie er von den westlichen Ländern gesehen wird. „In Belarus sind Parteichefs Menschen, die sich gegenseitig respektieren. Sie verstehen, dass wir nur ein Land haben, auch wenn wir unterschiedliche Ansätze in der Wirtschaft haben. Wir diskutieren viel. Die Diskussion findet im Parlament statt, in der Allbelarussischen Volksversammlung, aber auf zivilisierte Weise. Wir halten uns an die Verfassung und an den Kurs, den uns die Allbelarussische Volksversammlung vorgegeben hat. Das gefällt dem Westen nicht. Der Westen möchte solche Wahlen in Belarus sehen, die den Staat schwächen und nicht stärker machen“, resümierte der Vorsitzende der Liberaldemokratischen Partei.

21st June was fifth International Yoga Day observed across the world. The theme for Yoga Day 2019 was "Yoga for Climate Action”. On this day, which is dedicated to inner and outer well-being of human body, people across the world practice yoga in groups. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga, a physical, mental and spiritual practice.
