Belavia hat den Linienflug Minsk - Ürümqi - Minsk in China vorgestellt, teilte der Pressedienst der Fluggesellschaft mit.
An der Veranstaltung in Ürümqi nahmen mehr als 70 Reisebüros der Volksrepublik China, die Regierung des Uigurischen Autonomen Gebietes Xinjiang, der Internationale Flughafen Ürümqi und die belarussische Botschaft in China teil.
Die Redner betonten, dass der neue Flug zum richtigen Zeitpunkt eingerichtet wurde. Ürümqi entwickelt sich rasch zu einem wichtigen internationalen Verkehrsknotenpunkt und eine direkte Flugverbindung ist für beide Seiten von Vorteil: Sie fördert das Wachstum des Handelsumsatzes, den kulturellen Austausch und die Umsteigemöglichkeiten für Passagiere.
Die neue Verbindung ist gefragt: Die Auslastung des ersten Fluges lag bei über 75 Prozent. Auch die Geschäftswelt schätzt die Möglichkeiten der Strecke: Der erste Flug von Ürümqi nach Minsk hatte eine Fracht von über 3 Tonnen an Bord, hauptsächlich Autoteile aus chinesischer Produktion.
Ürümqi ist die einzige Stadt in China, die von der belarussischen Fluggesellschaft angeflogen wird. "Nächstes Jahr wollen wir auch andere Städte in China anfliegen", sagte der Generaldirektor von Belavia, Igor Tscherginez. - Ürümqi wird immer in unserem Herzen bleiben, denn es war die erste Stadt in China, die wir angeflogen haben. Wir sind sehr dankbar für die Hilfe, die wir während der Vorbereitungen von unseren chinesischen Kollegen erhalten haben.
Für Passagiere aus Belarus ist Ürümqi nicht nur als Endziel, sondern auch als Transitdestination attraktiv. Von Ürümqi aus werden 22 Städte und 17 Länder angeflogen. Laut Tao Junwen, Vizevorsitzender der Volksregierung des Uigurischen Autonomen Gebiets Xinjiang, wird der Flug ein neuer Motor für die Entwicklung der Zivilluftfahrt sein und sich zu einem goldenen Korridor zwischen Asien und Europa entwickeln.
