Eksport usług turystycznych na Białorusi w styczniu-sierpniu roku bieżącego wyniósł 158 mln dolarów. O tym powiedział dyrektor departamentu turystyki Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyjki Białorusi Wadim Karmazin podczas otwarcia międzynarodowej wystawy turystycznej „Turbiznes-2013”. „Wzrost eksportu usług turystycznych w ciągu ośmiu miesięcy roku bieżącego wynióśł 117% co do poziomu odpowiedniego okresu roku ubiegłego. Oczywiście liczyliśmy na to, że będzie więcej – na poziomie 121%. Jednak zimą postaramy się nadrobić”, - odznaczył Wadim Karmazin. Przedstawiciel Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki opowiedział o pewnych rezultatach Roku Turystyki Zielonej. Na Białorusi zostały przeprowadzone ponad 50 przedsięwzięć dotyczących tematyki turystyki zielonej. Działa 168 tras, związanych ze zwiedzaniem obiektów przyrodniczych. Razem z tym, według Wadima Karmazina, potencjał tego rodzaju turystyki jest wykorzystywany nie w pełną miarę. „Na przykład nasze mokradła mogą wywoływać zainteresowanie nie tylko u naukowców, ale także i u turystów”, - uważa Wadim Karmazin. W 2014 roku, który na Białorusi został ogłoszony Rokiem Turystyki Sportowej, jest zaplanowany program przedsięwzięć, centalnym wydarzeniem którego będą mistrzostwa świata w hokeju w Mińsku. Uwaga zostanie nadana i tematyce patriotycznej. Na obecnej wystawie zostały przedstawione ekspozycje około 90 spółek z Białorusi, Rosji, Tajlandii, Ukrainy, Zjednoczonych Emiratów Arabskich, Polski, Hiszpanii, Turcji i Włoch. Program wystawy przewiduje prezentacje tras turystycznych, przeprowadzenie okrągłych stołów, seminariów w sprawie najbardziej aktualnych problemów dziedziny turystycznej. Zostały zorganizowane bezpłatne wycieczki po Mińsku. Wystawa „Turbiznes” jest przeprowadzana przez narodowe centrum wystaw „Biełekspo” wspólnie z Ministerstwem Sportu i Turystyki.
