Serbia liczy na pomoc Białorusi w rozwoju wytwórczości przemysłowych. O tym powiedział minister rozwoju regionalnego i samorządu lokalnego Serbii – prezes serbskiej połowy międzyrządowej białorusko-serbskiej komisji do spraw współpracy handlowo-gospodarczej Igor Mirović podczas posiedzenia rady biznesowej do spraw współpracy pomiędzy Białoruską Izbą Handlowo-Przemysłową a Izbą Gospodarczą Serbii. „Serbia, szczególnie nasz rząd, jest zainteresowana we współpracy z Białorusią, która czyni możliwym rozwój wytwórczości przemysłowych w naszym kraju. Przede wszystkim czekamy na zakładanie nowych wytwórczości i rozpoczęcie wytwarzania jakościowej produkcji”, - odznaczył Igor Mirović. Serbia jest krajem agrarnym z szeroką nomenklaturą odpowiedniej produkcji, która jest dobrze znana poza granicami kraju, podkreślił minister. „Białoruś także jest dobrze rozwinięta w tym kierunku, więc my liczymy na współdziałanie i w tej dziedzinie. Oprócz tego nasze kraje powinne rozwijać współpracę w takich dziedzinach jak energetyka, budownictwo i tak dalej”, - uważa Igor Mirović. On także odznaczył, że Białoruś i Serbia powinne rozpatrywać możliwości wspólnego wyjścia na rynki innych krajów z produkcją wspólnych przedsiębiorstw. Minister spodziewa się, że aktywizacja współpracy obu krajów pozytywnie odbije się na obrocie towarowym. „Wcześniej nie mówiliśmy o rocznej liczbie obrotu towarowego, któraby wynosiła 30 mln dolarów, zaraz analizując potencjał, możliwości i te projekty, które już są realizowywane, planujemy, że w ciągu najbliższych lat wzajemny obrót towarowy może wynieść 500 mln dolarów”, - powiedział przedstawiciel Serbii. Zgodnie z wynikami stycznia-czerwca 2013 roku obrót towarowy pomiędzy Białorusią a Serbią zwiększył się o 19,1% co do podobnego okresu roku ubiegłego i wyniósł 76 mln 300 tys. dolarów. Białoruski eksport wzrósł o 16,8% do 39 mln 700 tys. Dodatnie dla Białorusi saldo wyniosło 3 mln 100 tys. dolarów.
