Białoruś i Litwa realizują 15 projektów inwestycyjnych, ogólna suma inwestycji do których wynosi 650 mln dolarów. O tym powiedział w Mińsku Nadzwyczajny i Pełnomocny Ambasador Białorusi na Litwie Władimir Drażyn. „Bliskość Białorusi i Litwy wpływa na stosunki: tak w planie ekonomicznym, jak i politycznym i humanistycznym”, - odznaczył ambasador. Najbardziej owocnym we współpracy obu krajów był rok ubiegły, kiedy po raz pierwszy został osiągnięty wzajemny obrót towarowy, wynoszący 1 mlrd 530 mln dolarów. Jest to znaczny wzrost w porównaniu z poprzednimi latami. Szczególna uwaga została nadana takim kierunkom działalności gospodarczej, jak inwestycje i usługi. Po raz pierwszy liczba inwestycji wyniosła 173 mln dolarów, liczba usług – 640 mln, wielokrotnie zwiększywszy się w ciągu ostatnich lat. Prace w tym kierunku są kontynuowane, liczba inwestycji wzrasta, odznaczył Władimir Drażyn. Tak, w najbliższym czasie zostanie otwarty klaster wytwórczy w dziedzinie obróbki drewna w wolnej strefie gospodarczej „Mohylów”, który jest budowany przy udziale strony litewskiej. „W ogóle w naszym kraju są realizowane 15 projektów inwestycyjnych, które pozwalają nam w perspektywie mieć liczbę inwestycji wynoszącą 650 mln dolarów”, - powiedział ambasador. Jeśli chodzi o handel usługami, to istnieją możliwości wzrostu do 1 mlrd dolarów rocznie. Przy tym dobre perspektywy powstają w planie logistykki, ważną rolę tutaj odgrywa Kłajpedzki Port Morski. Także Władimir Drażyn podkreślił dynamiczny rozwój współpracy regionalnej obu krajów. Wspólne fora pozwalają aktywizować stosunki w tym kierunku, przyciągać do współpracy kraje trzecie. Jest obserwowana pozytywna dynamika rozwoju stosunków w sferze turystyki.
