Izrael planuje inwestować do gospodarki Białorusi w 2013 roku około 400 mln dolarów. O tym powiedział Nadzwyczajny i Pełnomocny Ambasador Izraela na Białorusi Iosif Szagal. „W 2012 roku izraelskie inwestycje do gospodarki Białorusi wyniosły 250-300 mln dolarów. Jak się oczekuje zgodnie z wynikami 2013 roku izraelskie inwestycje wyniosą 400 mln dolarów”, - powiedział Iosif Szagal. Ambasador odznaczył, że izraelskie inwestycje są kierowane przeważnie do rolnictwa. Przy ich udziale została zbudowana Dzierżyńska fabryka drobiu, koszty tego projektu wyniosły 4 mln euro, a także 1. Mińska fabryka drobiu – 10 mln euro. W rejonie Lubańskim został wprowadzony do eksploatacji komleks hodowli świń. „Zaraz są rozpatrywane detale projektu izraelskiej spółki związanego z budownictwem komplesu wytwarzającego mięso indyka, liczba inwestycji wynosi 45 mln euro, - powiedział ambsador. – Inna izraelska spółka planuje zbudować w obwodzie Grodzieńskim kompleks, który także będzie wytwarzał mięso indyka, koszty tego projetu – 52 mln euro”. Zgodnie z wynikami 2012 roku obrót towarowy pomiędzy Izraelem a Białorusi po raz pierwszy przewyższył 100 mln dolarów i wyniósł 109 mln.
