Die Republik Belarus ist am direkten Dialog zwischen der Europäischen Union und der Eurasischen Wirtschaftsunion zur Besprechung langfristiger Kooperationsaussichten interessiert. Das betonte Leiter des belarussischen Ministeriums für Auswärtige Angelegenheiten, Wladimir Makej, während seiner Arbeitsreise in die Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Das gab der Pressedienst des belarussischen Außenministeriums der Nachrichtenagentur BelTA bekannt.
Am 5. Februar trat der belarussische Außenminister in der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik e.V. (DGAP) in Berlin auf und traf sich mit Vertretern der deutschen Geschäftskreise zu einem Gespräch. Wladimir Makej legte Ansätze der belarussischen Seite zu Problemen der regionalen Sicherheit und zu aktuellen Fragen der internationalen Tagesordnung dar, betonte eine wichtige Rolle von Belarus in der Region, schnitt Frage der Entwicklungsaussichten der belarussisch-deutschen Beziehungen und des Dialogs im Rahmen Belarus-EU an und antwortete auf die Fragen von Experten.
Beim Treffen mit Vertretern der deutschen Geschäftskreise wurde die Betonung auf das Investitionspotential von Belarus, darunter mit Rücksicht auf die Teilnahme des Landes an Prozessen der eurasischen Integration, gelegt. Die belarussische Partei zeigte sich interessiert am direkten Dialog zwischen der Europäischen Union und der Eurasischen Wirtschaftsunion zur Besprechung langfristiger Kooperationsaussichten. Es wurden Zustand und Perspektiven der Zusammenarbeit in Handel und Wirtschaft zwischen Belarus und der Bundesrepublik Deutschland analysiert. Der Außenminister beantwortete auch Fragen von Vertretern größter Unternehmen, die in Belarus präsent sind oder in den belarussischen Markt einsteigen wollen.

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English.
