Competition is the only efficient motivator for the development of market relations, member of the permanent commission on budget and finances of the House of Representatives Valery Borodenya told BelTA as he commented on Alexander Lukashenko’s State of the Nation Address to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly.
The MP emphasized the points of the economic program the President covered in his annual speech. “The development of the domestic market is the thing we often overlook while searching new markets for exports. The national consumer is most loyal and is the only one who creates the basis for the sustainable development of the economy during difficult times,” Valery Borodenya said.
Another important aspect is the improvement of economic management levers and mechanisms. “The third point which cannot be argued is the development and encouragement of the competition. Unfortunately, many people, abusing the administrative resource, have forgotten that the competition is the only efficient motivator for the development of market relations. Efficient development of companies is possible in the competitive environment only,” the MP believes.
