Belarus, Russia may sign oil balance for 2014 soon

          Belarus and Russia may sign the oil deliveries balance for 2014 soon, BelTA qoutes representatives of the Belarus government. “A number of minor things regarding the monthly chart are still left to address. We are interested in optimizing it taking into account the manufacturing cycle and plans for repairs of Belarusian refineries,” said representatives of the Council of Ministers of Belarus. The matter is being discussed with the Russian side now.
       The source reminded that the volume of oil Belarus will get this year had been agreed at all levels after Belarus-Russia negotiations. Thus, Belarus plans to get a total of 23 million tonnes of oil, including 21.5 million tonnes by pipeline transport. “This year’s oil balance has been agreed, with the volume and the structure acceptable for both sides. It will allow us to calmly go ahead with the Belarusian oil industry development strategy,” stated the source. Besides, the agreed figures are based on social and economic development plans for 2014.
