Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Andras Simor will visit Belarus from 31 March to 2 April.
The EBRD Vice President is set to hold meetings and talks with government officials, to visit the first start-up complex of the Belarusian-Swiss electric transportation plant Stadler Minsk in Fanipol, Minsk Oblast. The EBRD takes part in the financing of the project.
In 2013, the amount of the EBRD operations in Belarus reached a historic maximum of €255 million. This was facilitated by the EBRD new strategy for Belarus for 2013-2015 adopted in 2013.
