Exhibition "Ten centuries of art in Belarus" was launched in the National Art Museum. Art Project of the Year brings together about 500 works of art from the Byzantine epoch to the postmodern, from museums, private and corporate collections across the country. For a total of ten hours the National Art Museum exhibits a copy of Cross of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk. The cenral piece of the exposition is Eve by Chaim Soutine, the most expensive painting in Belarus today.
According to the author of the exhibition’s concept Vladimir Schacny, the idea was to prepare an exhibition that would allow showing the art of Belarus in continuity and integrity.
