Wireless Internet access via Wi-Fi will be free for reporters, who are accredited for the ice hockey world championship in Minsk. Free Wi-Fi access will be available in press centers and designated areas (VIP) as well as in places of residence where Wi-Fi services are provided by Beltelecom. The decision was made at the government session held to discuss Internet access during the ice hockey world championship, the press service of the Belarus government reports.
Beltelecom cards and services will be available for sale for reporters in the press centers of Minsk Arena and Chizhovka Arena. Fans will be able to buy Internet access cards in the two arenas, too. Beltelecom’s outlets in Minsk Arena and Chizhovka Arena will stay open from 10:00 till 23:00 for the duration of the championship.
Wi-Fi access cards will also be sold in places of residence of organizers, official persons, and accredited reporters.
