Matters concerning the development of Belarusian-Nicaraguan cooperation in politics, trade, economy, investment, science, technology, and education were discussed at the meeting of Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Guryanov and Nicaraguan Deputy Foreign Minister Valdrak Jaentschek, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry told media. The sides also reached an agreement on building up the legal base for bilateral cooperation.
A presentation of Belarus’ industrial potential, namely products by MTZ, MAZ, BelAZ, Amkodor, Belagromash, and other companies, will be arranged for the Nicaraguan delegation at premises of Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark).
Negotiations between the Nicaraguan delegation and top officials of the Belarusian Industry Ministry and the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus are supposed to take place.
While in Minsk the Nicaraguan Deputy Foreign Minister is also expected to take part in the opening of an honorary consulate of Nicaragua in Belarus.
