Belarus-U.S. cooperation discussed in Washington

Belarus-U.S. cooperation was discussed in Washington by head of multilateral diplomacy at the Foreign Ministry Yury Ambrazevich and representatives of the U.S. Department of State offices.

The parties talked over the prospects of the Belarusian-American cooperation within the UN, UNESCO, the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice and in other multilateral formats. The meeting served as a continuation of the consultations on Belarus-U.S. cooperation in international organizations held in Washington in June 2013.

According to the press service: “Successful cooperation between Belarus and the United States of America in the United Nations against human trafficking in 2013 and the results of the talks demonstrate a strong potential for active joint work between Minsk and Washington on multilateral international platforms in the issues of mutual interest.”
