This was suggested by Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang during the visit of Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich to China.
The matter was discussed in detail during Mikhail Myasnikovich’s visit to Harbin (Heilongjiang Province of China). “They have a huge intellectual and industrial potential, with 28 higher learning institutions and 521 research facilities located there. Therefore, I believe we will be able to come up with a lot of new projects,” the Belarusian head of government said.
The parties have agreed that China will send a group of leading specialists and scientists to Belarus to share expertise and knowledge and develop an action plan.
Belarus’ suggestion to ramp up cooperation in training top scientists was upheld, too.
