The Parliamentary Assembly of Belarus-Russia Union State will hold a series of events in 2014 to mark the 70th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazis. The events will be included into the PA working schedule for 2014 that was approved at the Wednesday meeting. The document comprises sessions and meetings of the PA Council, permanent commissions, seminars, roundtables and other events. A big number of events will be held in the regions of Belarus and Russia. In particular, they will take place in Brest, Vitebsk, Mogilev, St. Petersburg, Smolensk, Kazan, Belgorod and other cities. In this way the significance of interregional cooperation in the Union State development well be emphasized.
The working schedule will correlate with the 2014 PA international activity plan which was also approved at the meeting.
