BCCI Office in Minsk to cooperate with Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire

The Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the UK’s Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire are ready to establish closer contacts. The agreement on establishing closer contacts was reached during the visit of Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the UK Sergei Aleinik to the city of Nottingham. The Belarusian diplomat met with Lord Mayor of Nottingham Merlita Bryan and Chief Executive of the Nottingham City Council Ian Curryer, Chief Executive of the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce George Cowcher. The parties discussed ways to intensify cooperation between Minsk and Nottingham. The parties touched upon the issues of cooperation in urban infrastructure and transport, development of trade, economic, educational and scientific relations between the establishments of this region and Belarus. The presentations of economic and investment potential confirmed the interest in organizing joint events and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation with Belarusian partners.
