Brest region of Belarus has plans to start exporting local products to India

Brest region of Belarus has plans to start exporting local products to India, region Governor Konstantin Sumar said as he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Manoj Kumar Bharti. Konstantin Sumar noted that Brest region is ready to supply its high-quality organic products to Indian retailers. “I think our export to India is just a matter of time,” the Brest Oblast Governor said. “Your dairy products are very good. I had an opportunity to taste them. I think marketing departments of Belarusian companies should get involved in the process,” the Indian diplomat said. The meeting was held prior to the opening of the 5th national trade show Best from India in Brest. According to the Indian Ambassador, such trade shows greatly contribute to the bilateral trade. “India is very interested in this kind of exhibitions. So Belarusian companies should take advantage of it. I am sure this would help promote their products on the Indian market,” Manoj Kumar Bharti said.
