Turkey Prime Minister confirms interest in tight cooperation with Customs Union

         Turkey is indeed interested in advancing tight cooperation with the Customs Union. Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the statement at the press conference held in Moscow after negotiations with President of Russia Vladimir Putin. “We are interested in signing an agreement on free trade with Eurasian nations,” said Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
       In turn, President of Russia Vladimir Putin stated that the respect for Turkey in the international scene, the country’s independent sovereign policy justify Turkey’s more active participation in regional international organizations.
