Belarus, Gabon to bolster trade and economic ties

         Belarus and Gabon intend to intensify trade and economic ties. The agreement was reached during a visit of the Belarusian delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Valentin Rybakov to Gabon.
Valentin Rybakov held talks with Emmanuel Issoze-Ngondet, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and La Francophonie, in charge of NEPAD and Regional Integration. The parties reviewed the issues of bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Gabon.
         The parties also discussed political relations, interaction within the framework of international organizations, and noted the need to intensify trade and economic ties, cooperation in education and to develop the legal framework of bilateral relations.
        Minister of Foreign Affairs of Gabon was handed over a message from Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei and an invitation to visit Belarus at a convenient time.
