All heads of state confirm participation in CIS summit in Minsk

        All the heads of state have confirmed their plans to take part in the session of the CIS Council of Heads of State that will be held in Minsk at the end of October, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said at a meeting to discuss preparations for the summit. The top officials will also partake in sessions of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
        According to the President, those are the top events. Alexander Lukashenko noted that the program of the summit had already been drafted. The President noted that all the organizational matters related to the conduct of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the CIS Council of Heads of State need close control. In his words, this pertains to accommodation for the heads and members of the delegations, journalists and jet crews. “No detail should be neglected. Everything should be done perfectly, so that the participants of the session would leave in a good mood and take home the best memories of our capital city and our people. We need to think everything over,” the Belarusian head of state said.
