Action plan adopted to reform Belarus economy

         A plan of joint actions of the Belarus government and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus has been adopted for the sake of reforming the structure and enhancing the competitive ability of the national economy. The Council of Ministers and the National Bank have determined key avenues with a list of specific actions to develop the Belarus economy. The action plan envisages measures to improve the monetary management, investment, budgeting, and tariff policies, to optimize government programs, to improve the tax system and improve the effectiveness of the management of state property and mechanisms for privatizing state property. 
        Some of the measures are designed to encourage export, shape a common industrial policy of the Single Economic Space. The plan also provides for reforming the structure of the economy for the sake of perfecting and raising the effectiveness of economic institutions. Measures are laid down to reform land relations, enable the effective usage of forest resources, further improve the labor remuneration system, improve the competitiveness of the labor market, and improve pension laws.
