Belarus to host Russian Culture Days in November

        There are plans for Russian Culture Days in Belarus in November 2013, Culture Minister of Belarus Boris Svetlov told a press conference in Minsk. The Culture Ministry has cooperation programs signed with almost every oblast and region of the Russian Federation. The ministry hails active cultural cooperation with the neighboring country. Today the Culture Ministry has 47 intergovernmental and ministerial agreements with 34 countries. A great amount of foreign guests partake in international festivals held in Belarus.
       Belarusian artists are active participants of festivals and tours abroad. In summer 2013 the Culture Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Cultural Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh signed a memorandum of understanding on cultural cooperation. The Belarusian Culture Ministry has developed a detail action plan for cooperation with the People’s Republic of China through 2020. Draft documents on cooperation in culture and art with Australia, Armenia, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Romania, the UAE, Vietnam are under coordination. The ministry is also working on a draft cooperation agreement with Tunisia and plans to sign an agreement on cultural cooperation with Indonesia in the near futur
