Belarusian delegation headed by PM visits Mongolia

A Belarusian delegation headed by PM Mikhail Miasnikovich visits Mongolia, which hosts a Belarusian national exhibition. In addition to the meeting with Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, the Belarusian head of government met with Mongolia Prime Minister Norovyn Altankhuyag and Chairman of the Mongolia Parliament Zandaakhuu Enkhbold and took part in the Belarusian-Mongolian business forum. The Belarusian head of government named the mining sector, engineering area, public municipal passenger transport and commuter services among the promising areas for the bilateral cooperation. It has been numerously noted by representatives of the two states that despite the recent growth in the bilateral trade, its volume has not reached the desired level yet. In this respect active involvement of ministries, chambers of commerce and industry into the process is an important factor for further development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. The National Exhibition of the Republic of Belarus and the first Belarusian-Mongolian business forum are bright examples of the two countries’ commitment to the development of bilateral relations.
