Despite all the challenges, we keep exporting our products and improving their quality, Vitaly Bylitsky, Deputy Director General for Quality System Management at BelAZ, the managing company of BelAZ-Holding, told the media, BelTA has learned.
Belarusian Autoworks has been for many years the flagship of the national industry and exports over 90% of its products, including to non-CIS countries. The company's vehicles are used both in harsh conditions of the north and in tropical climates. “BelAZ has always been among the top three world leaders in mining equipment. In connection with recent events, the Russian Federation is a priority market for us. We also continue supplies to India, Algeria and other countries. Besides, we are tapping into new markets. In general, we are moving forward and looking for consumers all over the world,” said Vitaly Bylitsky.
“We keep the quality of our products at a high level to ensure their competitiveness, since this is the most important parameter. This is the seventh time we have confirmed the title of the Belarusian Government Excellence Quality Award holder,” he stressed.
As for innovative solutions, the company does not stand idle and implements modern technologies in machinery manufacturing. “We have projects related to energy saving. We also develop electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles (diesel trolley trucks). We implement modern technologies for hauler monitoring,” said Vitaly Bylitsky.
The public joint-stock company (OAO) BelAZ is the managing company of the holding company BelAZ. BelAZ is the world's largest manufacturer of haul trucks and transport equipment for the mining industry and the civil engineering industry. BelAZ occupies about 30% of the world market of haul trucks with an extremely large carrying capacity. The company makes the world's largest haul truck with the carrying capacity of 450 tonnes.
